Mad Brain is a custom software development studio. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have.
Last updated June 9, 2026
This policy covers madbrain.dev and any custom software development work Mad Brain (“we,” “us,” or “our”) delivers. We keep data collection to what the site and our work actually need.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
- Information you give us.When you fill in the contact form, request an estimate, book a call, submit a testimonial, subscribe to the newsletter, or chat with us, we receive what you type — typically your name, email, company, and project details.
- Information collected automatically. With your consent, analytics tools record basic usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device type. Nothing optional loads until you accept it.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- reply to your message and scope your project;
- send estimates, booking confirmations, and calendar invites;
- run and improve the site once you have opted in to analytics;
- send the newsletter, only if you asked for it.
We do not sell your data. We do not run ad-profiling on your personal information.
Third-party services we use
A few trusted providers process data on our behalf. Each is bound by its own terms and handles data as a processor.
- Resend— sends transactional email such as estimate results and booking confirmations.
- Google Analytics or Plausible— measures site usage. Loads only with your analytics consent.
- Vercel— hosts the site and provides privacy-friendly traffic measurement.
- MongoDB Atlas— stores form submissions, bookings, and chat sessions securely.
Your rights
If you are in the EU, UK, or a region with similar rules, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@madbrain.dev. We respond within 30 days.
Data retention
We keep project and enquiry data only as long as needed for the work and our records, then delete it. Newsletter data stays until you unsubscribe.
Children
The site is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site grows. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
